NETHERLANDS 3/3 [Utrecht]

Cestování není nikdy dost! A jelikož mně už se pomalu ale jistě blíží další výlet, tentokrát do Německa, bylo by fajn ještě před odjezdem stihnout protřídit složku "Holandsko s D.", sepsat posledních pár zážitků, které mám na náš poslední výlet do Utrechtu a navnadit se tak na další dobrodrůžo.

There is never enough of traveling! And because my next trip to Germany is approaching, it would be nice to go through the "Netherlands with D." folder before I will leave, and I decided to write about the last few experiences I have from our trip to Utrecht. Also it is a great way to wander for a new adventure.

Utrecht. Jeli jsme tam ze dvou důvodů: ten první byl fakt, že jsem se tam měla vidět s kamarádkou Jasmijn, se kterou jsme se poznaly na Tenerife během Erasmu. A ten druhý důvod byl ten, že když mi Jasmijn navrhla, že bychom se mohly sejít právě v Utrechtu a já si to město vygooglila, tak jsem si ho zamilovala už jen podle těch fotek, které tam na mě vyskočily.

Utrecht. We went there for two reasons: the first one was the fact that I wanted to meet there with my friend Jasmijn, whom I met in Tenerife during my Erasmus. And the other reason was that when Jasmijn suggested that we could meet in Utrecht and I googled it, I fell in love with it in the same moment I saw the first pictures of it.

Dali jsme si sraz na nádraží v Utrechtu a J. nám pak ukázala centrum města, zašli jsme na kafe a vyrazili k Dom Tower. Rozhodlo se, že půjdeme nahoru a po prvních 100 schodech jsem si říkala, že bych asi měla začít cvičit, protože moje nohy to těžce nezvládaly. Každopádně to bylo i dost vtipné a jediné co mi vadilo bylo lešení na vrchu věže, které se mi snažilo zničit fotky. #bloggersproblems

We met at the station in Utrecht, and J. showed us the city center, we went for a coffee and headed for Dom Tower. We decided to go upstairs and after the first 100 stairs I thought I should start working out because my legs were shaking a lot. Anyway, it was funny and the only thing that bothered me was the scaffolding on the top of the tower that was trying to destroy my photos. #bloggersproblems

Po tomhle výkonu jsme měli všichni obrovský hlad a tam jsme zakotvili v takové milé restauraci u kanálu (zase to zní v češtině ultra romanticky) a já se rozhodla vyzkoušet něco tradičního - holandské krokety. Byla sranda mě pozorovat, jak je nejsem schopná ani rozmačkat po té housce. Ter odborník.

After this performance, we were all very hungry and we docked in such a nice restaurant by the canal and I decided to try something traditional - Dutch croquettes. It was funny to watch me how I was not even able to squeeze the croquettes on the bun. Ter the expert.
